Although we enjoyed some agreeably quiet relaxing times in the garden looking out into the dramatic vista of Grand Colombier with a cold glass of local wine, we spent most of our time out and about. The surrounding countryside is dramatic, the ViaRhona cycle route is unchallenging (unless you do it as we chose to in 37° heat in which case it was extremely challenging) and there are many large and small towns...
