"Awesome place a block from historic Ljubljana. Comfortable mini apartments with a gated parking lot. We had the basement apartment 3 - maybe the smallest and we thought great place. Can only imagine the other ones. No on-site staff, but don’t let that stop you. Super responsive with messaging. And everything set up with coded key pads. And sent us list of recommended restaurants. Don’t miss the bars and restaurants near John the Baptist church close to Vila Emona."

"We are so thankful Púa approved our request to stay at Barrio Alto! The apartment itself is lovely. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, comfortable sofa, and nice kitchen! It looks over a courtyard and we enjoyed watching the neighbor’s kitties play. The access to a washer AND dryer was exceptionally welcome as this was an 8 night stop in a 2 1/2 month journey. The location also could not be more perfect. Restaurants, museums, shops, bakeries, grocers, etc are everywhere and such fun walking...

"Overall a nice property especially with the patio. Clean and comfortable. The two things not liked is the fridge could be colder and not finding out about cash payment instead of card until arriving created extra work and cost more since I had to pay the sevice fee for the exchange rate. "

Great water pressure in the showers and lots of hot water. Definitely recommend. Spacious main bedroom and comfortable second bedroom."

"The bed was comfortable, the location was excellent and the host was accommodating. But with some more care it would have been excellent. There were no towels or soap in the bathroom. No hand soap in the kitchen. Some of the crockery and cutlery was not completely clean. There was no bracket for the shower head in a very complicated shower with no instructions."

"Excellent location, good hosts, comfortable accommodation. Two issues to be aware of. Five floors up by stairs only. Bathroom is adequate but very small. If you are obese or infirm these two issues will be a problem for you."

"We loved the city and spent most of our time away touring. This place was close to the city center, clean, secure and a decent size. The beds and pillows were in need of replacement. On our last night sparks and flames started shooting out of the bottom of the hot water tank. We called for help and our host said he didn’t understand what could be wrong and not to worry about it, it wasn’t dangerous. I asked for a fire extinguisher but there wasn’t one available.
