"The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed. A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines. The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower."

"What a superb little place, not so little as the dog and I had the house to ourselves. If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. "This was a charming, beautiful, comfortable place to stay! The staff were friendly and helpful in offering services and guidance with local sites of interest. "This is truly a little gem. An amazing, tastefully restored period building. It is also the owners home and it shows in all the fine details and attention. The building is amazing, spiral staircase, old fashioned bell pull and giant key locks. The rooms tastefully in keeping with the half timbered style whilst still managing to host all modern amenities. The breakfast selection was outstanding and uniquely informal. All fresh local produce....mmmmm. Best of all was the hospitality of the host...

"We went to the Loire Valley to see the castles in the area. We traveled with our five year old and the pool at this home was a perfect way to end a day of walking and sightseeing. The location is around 25-90 minutes away from the well known chateaus of the area. Breakfast was delicious and Estelle made us feel welcome from the start."

"Patricia and Pierre are lovely, warm people who made us very welcome. The gite is spacious and set in very pleasant grounds. The swimming pool looked super but sadly, due to the cold weather, we were unable to use it. The log fire was wonderful for the cold nights. The area around is fully of interesting château to visit.fur the cold evenings. "
