"The chateau is a little gem. Beautifully decorated, rooms all beautifully furnished. Food excellent and Matthew and his staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location and certainly an experience."

"The host was very nice and spoke good English. Our room was cramped and somewhat dated. The toilet was separate from shower area and both doors had to be closed to navigate around the bed. Breakfast was great. There was a close-by restaurant where we had a dinner. It was really very nice for the price!"

"The house was great, had all the comforts of home, a great yard with fig and peach trees, lots of Rose trees, that we have not seen and we are gardeners, a dock to sit on watch the river Le Loir flow, the host was awesome showed us the ins and out, took us to the local supermarket to stock up for our stay."

"Excellent pit stop for those travelling/passing through. Quite and relatively comfortable rooms; friendly service; easy parking and lots of dining and shopping options nearby. A dog was barking in the room next to us shortly after we arrived, another neighbouring room made a complaint and the lady at the front desk quickly dealt with and resolved the situation professionally."

"I had reserved via Expedia and on arrival the lovely lady at the desk saw I was using crutches to help me walk and without asking gave me a mobility assisted room. Excellent service."

"We had a fantastic week staying at the gite. We were a party of 8 and we had plenty of room - having two separate houses also worked really well for us. The pool is lovely - a great size, clean, heated and in a lovely setting. The location is beautiful, in the grounds of the chateau, and we enjoyed eating at the large table outside under the tree. The hosts were very friendly and helpful - thank you! In terms of eating out, we had a really delicious meal at the restaurant Aux Trois Pastoureaux in Chateaudun which is about 20 mins drive away - would highly recommend. All in all we had an amazing week and would love to go back at some point."

"Comfort is basic but totally OK regarding the price we paid. Very good solution for low-cost travelling. People are really helpful there and on the phone if you arrive after 9PM. Everything worked pepectly. A little noise in the morning when people start leaving the hotel but manageable, and again, very good price/quality rate."
