Beautiful and immaculately clean; a proper restful stay where we could enjoy a break away from it all. Thank you so much for the warm welcome, for us and our two doggies!

Safe, clean and very comfortable
We had a wonderful short break...Owl barn was very clean and I felt very confident and safe in these uncertain times. The accommodation has been very thoughtfully organised and resourced. It was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay in beautiful surroundings. The owners were also very welcoming and friendly and very quick to provide information about local dog friendly places to visit. I would recommend Owl Barn unreservedly

Excellent accommodation
Owl Barn really does exceed all expectations, Jane and Lesley have thoughtfully provided everything to make your stay as comfortable as can be. The barn is very spacious with lovely outside seating overlooking a lovely garden. The bed was so comfortable we didn’t want to get up. All the attractions such as the Broads and the coast are all within reasonable travelling distance. We would love to stay there again and can truly say Owl Barn is the best accommodation we have stayed in.

Wonderful holiday property.
We holiday in British dog friendly cottages three times a year and this is by far the best we’ve had in along time. Owl barn is beautifully presented with everything you could want. Sisland is a very quiet village but is ideally situated for visiting The Broads, Norwich or the coast. We will book again.

A peaceful holiday
My wife and I have stayed at many self-catering places, and this was our second visit to Owl Barn. It is by far the best place we have stayed. Everything has been thought of, and all eqipment and fittings are top quality. It is close to Norwich, but totally secluded, if you prefer peace and quiet. Fully deserves 5 star rating

Lovely house and location
The house was exceptionally clean and has everything you could possibly need. Jane was very helpful and we really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful setting. I would give 5 stars, but the wi-fi is not reliable - it didn't affect us on this occasion, but it would be good to be aware in advance if you are dependent on it for work (which I am usually). Thank you for a great few days.

Impeccable, exquisite, faultless - magnificent place to stay and relax in Norfolk
Owl Barn really is perfect in every sense and Jane and Lesley could not have been more thoughtful, considerate and thorough. They thought about absolutely every last detail and if we needed something it was there. They were extremely welcoming to us and our 2 year old Labrador, even fencing off the garden to keep him safe from wandering. Plus points - super king size bed - so comfortable! Wet room with tremendous shower, really well equipped kitchen, maps and guide books, Bose stereo system.........bottle of wine and local jam left out for us - and some biscuits etc for our dog. Very quiet and relaxing. No negative points at all. If only we could have stayed for a second week. We would give Owl Barn and the owners six stars if the scale extended far enough to mark absolute excellence. If only other properties that we rented were at this standard. Well done and thank you very much indeed.

Jane and Lesley have provided everything that you could possibly need at Owl Barn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the weather was fabulous and we so enjoyed sitting outside the Barn with the BBQ watching the Bats. The bed was super comfy. The kitchen and bathroom was fully equipped. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Beautifully equipped interior
Loved the interior of the barn wonderfully equipped and high standard of finish. Fantastically comfortable bed and great shower. Lovely touches on arrival....wine milk coffee etc. Only one small issue the outdoor seating felt too public to us to sit and lounge or eat out as on view to everyone on site. A great Base to discover area.

Beautiful Location & Barn for a Relaxing Week
We had a wonderful week in Owl Barn, it was even better than expected. Spacious, comfortable and the quality of everything was super. We were made to feel very welcome & enjoyed watching the wildlife come and go across the garden. Located in a peaceful rural location but just minutes from local villages to access shops and pubs it is perfect. We plan to return to explore more of Norfolk. Highly recommended.

The owners' description is not an exaggeration!
This is a great place to stay unless you really must be within walking distance of every amenity and nightlife. For the rest of us, this is a superbly appointed, and comfortable, holiday accommodation - with plenty of space for even our two Leonbergers. It is in a very quiet, rural location but is within easy travelling of Norwich (10 Miles) and the market town of Beccles (7miles). Loddon is only 3 minutes drive away (for shops and pubs) and a 10 minute drive to Brooke for the superb food at the Kings Head! The Norfolk coast and the Broads are further away - probably about 40 minutes - though the Suffolk coatal town of Southwold is closer than that. We stayed for a week and never got frustrated through lack of space or amenities in Owl Barn and that has to indicate the quality of the place. Additionally, the owners are available for help or advice, but are not 'watching over you'. It is very easy to recommend staying here!

Fantastic property. Everything we needed was there. Very clean with an exquisite bed !
Everything was spot on at owl barn from the location to the property. The only blight was the unhelpful aggravation involving homeaway prior to our stay

Enjoyable Stay
We enjoyed our stay at Owl barn over the Christmas period. Everything was there to make our stay wonderful - weather too was kind with sunny days. Can't wait to visit again during the summer months where we can enjoy the garden more and of course have longer daylight hours to take in the lovely views.

Wonderful accomodation
What a find! From the moment we arrived to a warm welcome from Jane it was a delight! Owl Barn is just gorgeous, everything you could possibly wish for is provided. A bottle of wine and some treats were waiting for us, and a pint of milk in the fridge, thank you. It was clean and warm and the huge bed so comfortable we slept until 10 on our first morning! The setting is beautiful and quiet yet you are very close to the nearest village of Loddon and only minutes from Norwich. We enjoyed a very relaxing three nights here and only wished we could stay longer. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property. Thank you Jane and Lesley, we hope to return one day.

Lovely peaceful rural location
We really enjoyed our stay at Owl Barn, everything you could need in a holiday home was there - including plenty of local guide books. The barn was extremely comfortable and very warm, it was a pleasure to come back to after a day out exploring the area. The broads, and both the Norfolk and Suffolk coast are a short drive away. Jane met us on our arrival and provided us with a good insight into the local area, including places to eat. The Swan in Loddon was a fine example, as the food there was wonderful. We would recommend Owl Barn to our friends and family as an excellent place to stay.
