It offers a supermarket, shops, cafés, railway station and a model village, as well as daily river trips. Great Yarmouth is a traditional family seaside resort 17 miles away, and excellent sandy beaches can be found 12 miles away. RSPB Nature and bird reserves all within a short drive away. The Bure Valley Railway, Norfolk’s longest narrow gauge railway, provides a great day out on the steam trains and runs from Wroxham to Aylsham, stopping at riverside village of Coltishall. Children will enjoy a visit to BeWILDerwood, an outdoor tree top adventure park, just 1 mile away. The National Trust Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Halls are well worth visiting, or alternatively the city of Norwich is 30 minutes’ drive having two indoor shopping malls, market square, two cathedrals, castle museum, theatre, many cafés and restaurants.
