"Perfect location for Le Shuttle, with ample on site parking. Excellent pool and facilities, and friendly efficient service in the convenient and good quality restaurant. Family room was large and well equipped but chilly (December) - perhaps some rooms/corridors need modernising to the standard of the very smart reception area etc. But would definitely recommend and stay again."

"Bedrooms were a good size. Excellent breakfast. Did not try other meals. Decor is very odd. Deffo lack of taste - all a bit 1980's .Library bar was a good room. Swimming pool and spa facilities were really good. Take your own pillows if you like soft ones. Mattresses were excellent. Convenient for the Hippodrome and you can walk into town. bath tubs were bouncy platic and showers were not brilliant. "

"We had a good stay before catching Le Shuttle. It’s very much budget end, but fine for a one night stay. Everything worked, although the plastic toilet flush operating button was cracked and ready to disintegrate. The shower was fine and had a good amount of hot water pressure. The bed was rather hard for my liking, but that seems quite common in France. The sheets and towels were clean and in good condition. "We were looking for a hotel in the centre of town with a car park. This fitted the bill exactly. Staff were excellent. Car park is tight! but Volvo XC60 fitted - but I had to be careful"

"Very friendly staff. A calm place for a stay. The food was excellent without being particularly imaginative which suited us all fine. Our 7 year twins were treated with charm and patience and so was our dog. We also greatly enjoyed the pool. "

"This was an excellent top notch hotel, fantastic professional service (Nicolas, very helpful When we called for details and when we arrived) Superb breakfast, calm atmosphere, spacious suite and amazing views from room and dining area / bar. No time for tranquility spa but looked in and would return to try that too . True hospitality, would recommend ! "

"Absolutely amazing hotel. When travelling, I prefer to stay at chain hotels as they tend to be more reliable and safe. Hotel room was huge, toilet/ shower was a very good size and the check in was so easy. The lady spoke both French and English so made it a very easy process. Got breakfast included which was lovely. Short walk to the museum and Christmas market as well as the high streets and Dunkirk harbour. 10/10 recommend"
