"It has been awhile since I’ve stayed at motel 6. Close to 15 years. I had made a reservation for nonsmoking king. After I was checked in, I didn’t realize that hotel did not have an elevator and was given a room on the 2nd floor. Being that I recently had surgery, climbing stairs was not an option for me. "My adult children and I spent the night on short notice as we were moving. The service was friendly amd the room was clean and stocked. There were a few minor damaged areas, but they did not affect the functionality of the room. The beds were comfortable and a microwave and minifridge were available. The price was right. "Kim is wonderful and helpful! This is a no frills motel. If you want a cheap clean room, a basic place to sleep (bring your own pillow if you are picky about pillows), shower (water gets HOT, pressure is fairly good; bring your own towels if you use/want big towels and/or plush/soft/new ones), and do not need any amenities (no chair for desk in room with two beds, no hair dryer, no hangers) this is the place to stay. Can't beat the price. Stayed two nights last week and am typing this in my room...

"Despite me calling ahead, property would not allow my dog until I began to argue. They literally said that if I wanted to bring a dog I shouldn't have booked the room through Expedia. When they relented, they would only provide a room with a single bed, even though I had reserved a room with two beds. And on top of all this, the room was absolutely filthy. So much so, that we didn't even stay for the 2nd of our two nights there."

"Took my small work team up for our planning sesh and we hunkered down at the cozy Trolls Den and got ‘er done. It was priced great and gave us all we needed. The host staff even shoveled the snow off our porch and under our car!! The greater Beachwalk community is beautiful and idyllic with the fresh snow and bright colored homes - we even bundled up and took a walk down to Lake Michigan and through neighborhood. #greatteammemories!!!
