After being a 5 star, Premier VRBO Owner for 17 years with our previous Lake Tuscaloosa property--we moved closer to Campus. Our new vacation home is only about 5 miles from Campus. Starfall Lake Retreat is a gorgeous, newly remodeled top to bottom, inside and out, gem of a property located in beautiful Northwood Lake--just minutes from Campus, in a beautiful and serene neighborhood. The spacious 4 Bedroom floor plan has two king bedrooms and two queen bedrooms, plus twin over full bunk beds in the huge Studio/4th bedroom which has its own kitchenette. Three beautiful bathrooms will make your stay enjoyable--for 8-10 guests. The twin over full beds are rated for adults, but are located in the studio, along with the King bed, kitchenette, ensuite bath, etc., so are perfect for the kids. Counting the bunk beds, we can sleep 8-10 guests.

Newly remodeled, with quality fixtures and furnishings throughout, the main level bedrooms are a king bedroom with ensuite bath, plus two queen bedrooms that share a hall bath. The studio level has a King bed, plus a twin over full bunk--in addition to a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, a gorgeous ensuite bath, a game table, and a huge walk in closet. This light filled space is definitely a family favorite!

Entering this impressive home through the ground level front door brings you to a large open foyer, with a few steps up to the main level, and a few steps down to the lower level walk out garage and Studio level. This is a functional and unique, raised ranch floor plan which is open and bright, and filled with natural light and views of the private, woodsy, yard from every window. Entering through the oversized two car garage brings you into the Studio level. This favorite Studio has a King bed, plus a twin over full bunk for the kids--and its own kitchenette. The Studio level is just a few steps down from the main front entry. The main living level is just a few steps up from the entry. Best of all, we're just minutes to campus and downtown Tuscaloosa, with all the fun--and the best restaurants!

Located on a private lot in a popular, semi rural family neighborhood, Starfall Lake Retreat is newly remodeled, with gorgeous finishes and fixtures throughout. Our private tree shaded backyard, with deck, and ground level fire pit area just invites lingering over dinner with a little music, great conversation, chirping crickets, the hooting of our resident owl, and lots of memory making. The fire pit area includes a propane fire pit with sparkling glass, as well as a wood fire pit for s'mores. A propane Weber grill on the kitchen deck is super convenient to serving dinner in the spacious dining room--where more memories are sure to be made over great conversation or fun games. Everything in the kitchen is brand new and ready for your fun times! Our oversized 2 car garage is available to you, along with plenty of parking along the driveway. There is room to turn around when exiting the property. You will have the entire home, including the oversized garage for your use during your stay.

Our location at Northwood Lake is very popular, due to its easy accessibility to campus with the best bars and restaurants--and you'll absolutely love this location for football week-ends, or visiting your student at college--and of course, graduation--which always books early in Tuscaloosa. Trip insurance is available, and always recommended at time of booking. CFAR is Cancel for Any Reason insurance, and will give you peace of mind, because we do enforce our cancellation policies.

Wonderful restaurants are nearby in downtown Tuscaloosa, if you get tired of cooking out! Bama parents love a comfortable place to stay when they come to visit their student, and there's room for extended family to come, too! We are located in a quiet, family neighborhood, and don't allow house parties, because we respect our neighbors. We have tried to provide everything you could need for your getaway vacation--and just as our guests have always loved their time at our previous lake house over the 17 years, we know our newly renovated Starfall Lake Retreat will be just as loved! Our wonderful housekeeper as well as our super handyman live just minutes away, should you need anything at all.

The neighborhood is very quiet at night, and we respect quiet hours from 9 pm to 9 am. Normal music is fine, but no amplified music or parties are allowed. This is a non-smoking property--inside and out. We enjoy the night sounds and the stars, while visiting on the deck, or around the fire pit, late into the night. The DR table is super fun for family game nights, too! Starfall Lake Retreat has Ring exterior floodlight cams for your peace of mind.

Please NOTE: Because our neighborhood is rural and quiet, please drive slowly, as children and pets live in the neighborhood--and you may see deer crossing the roads at night.
