The cottages are old, but the cottage was maintained to keep that woodsy feel. There was a "wood" stove in the living room for chilly evenings and an air conditioner for the warm days. "Great little studio rental. Nicely decorated, wonderful shower and appliances seemed to be brand new. Trailhead just a short walk away which leads to the Scenic Sedona Overlook. We continued our hike along the Airport Loop trail, the views were stunning. Conveniently located to the activities available in Sedona. Our stay at the rental was perfect, we had no need to contact the owner."

"Certainly not for everyone, but if you’re up for a unique stay with a rustic feel, Stone Cottage is great. The house was well appointed (even spices, coffee filters etc), clean and oozed authenticity of the old West. The farm animals, especially Calamity Jane, were a huge plus, and it was fun to help feed them and hear about the history of the homestead. Super quiet, waking up to the call of the roosters. The owner, Joe, could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Communication was great...

"The first room they gave us had a smell when we first entered. Upon inspection the garbage disposal was broken and had a foul smell. We contacted the front desk who sent the maintenance person who confirmed it was broken and emitted a foul smell. They apologized and provided us a different room which was completely remodeled. It was so nice, we wish we found this place for the two prior nights we stayed in Sedona!"
