ThistleDown House

4.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (165)
"We enjoyed our stay -- comfy bed with nice linens, very clean, elegant breakfast, and great location. Although it is not an isolated home (neighbors are close), once inside it feels very cozy and relaxing. Short walk to Capilano suspension bridge and short drive (5 mins) up to Grouse Mountain. We drove 10-15 mins into North Vancouver waterfront area for some nice dinners out. Enjoyed conversation with Brian, our host, at breakfast. "

No towel rack or hook or bath mat.. shower light and fan are one switch so kind of cold after working in the cold all night would be nice to have a hot shower in a warm room... For the area it's a good price. Also parking wasn't great for bigger vehicles. "

"We were very happy with this rental. It was modern, spotlessly clean and had all the supplies we needed. The beds were comfortable and the heated floors were a wonderful luxury. The entire back of the house is windows onto a forested natural ravine with a creek below and walking trails. The trails can be accessed just down the street a short walk. Groceries were close by as was downtown NVan and WVan for supplies. It was just a short drive to skiing at Cypress Mountain. The master bed was so...
