"Check in was flawless. Sophia was exceptional in her welcome and information. We arrived quite late but was able to get food which was (surprisingly) very good and not expensive as we have come to expect in a uk hotel. Room was very comfortable only negative was the road noise but being close to m4 /a road not much you can do about that. Balcony area was nice if not a little tired (again uk weather! ) would definitely recommend a stay here"

"This hotel is very convenient for regular buses into Oxford city centre and was a perfect spot for our two day visit. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and I really appreciated the gluten free options that were available. The bar and seating area are very comfortable and inviting with a lovely patio area also available. I wasn't happy with the sign saying we had to pay for car parking. Not sure why people with a car should have this additional payment, however, in the end we had the charge dropped. Would definitely put me off staying in future if this was enforced."

"We were staying for a wedding, beautiful hotel, old fashioned rooms but bit size and nice bathroom. Pillows not the most comfortable or the beds! Staff lovely and very helpful, nothing was a trouble when I asked for something. Beautiful grounds"

"Well located with a 30 min walk into the City Centre or jump on one of the many buses at the end of the road. Parking is £10 per 24 hours but there were no spaces when we arrived around 4 pm on a Saturday. Fortunately street parking is available after this time and on a Sunday"
