Our beautiful home, Bayfront Haven, is right in the lovely seaside village of North Rustico on PEI’s North Shore. View spectacular sunset skies over the Bay from the large back deck of our charming one-and-a-half story vacation property. Our landscaped yard features 160 feet of waterfront.
Peaceful and private, but with a birds-eye-view of the local action on and off the water, our home overlooks the bay, and offers ocean vistas from large picture windows in both the comfortable living room and dining area. There is also a bathroom with tub / shower combination on this level. The galley kitchen, small but well equipped, is adjacent to the dining area. You can gaze at beautiful views while you enjoy meals indoors. Head out to the deck overlooking the bay for a drink while the sunset signals the end of one day. Welcome the new day with coffee in the morning on the deck from the same comfortable spot. The deck, surrounded by well-established perennial beds full of irises and wild roses, extends our living space with comfortable handcrafted seating. Completing our outdoor amenities is a very private outdoor shower at the end of the house, just around the corner.
We have three bedrooms. The upper level bedroom has a king sized bed with euro top mattress. On the main level there is a den with two small child sized built-in beds. The lower level of our summer home was completely renovated several years ago. At the bottom of the stairs is a separate laundry room and two bedrooms, each with queen sized bed. The second bathroom has a step-in tiled shower with built-in bench seat.
Enjoy the nearby lighthouse rotating its enchanting beam in the sky above. Lobster boats and deep sea fishing charters full of locals and tourists navigate the bay as you look out from the deck. Watch herons stalk their prey in the shallows and eagles and ospreys flyoverhead. Rustico National Park Beach is right across the road, with its scenic bike path overlooking ocean cliffs. Paddle your Kayak right from the backyard or join village skippers for deep sea fishing voyages that you watched heading out to sea the day before. Stroll on the bayside boardwalk into our popular harbour village for groceries or lunch. Or you can follow the boardwalk to the harbour, with its colourful fishing shanties and award-winning restaurants. The popular Watermark Theatre is just around the corner.
Centrally located within 30 minutes of Charlottetown and Summerside, with four golf courses nearby, our vacation beach house is the perfect place for your PEI vacation.
