"Made reservation through 3rd party. Office had no record of it when I was checking in. I had to show that my account was debited for the rental. Area is very crowded with RVs. Was greeted by campers yelling at me to slow down, even though I was doing the tmph speed limit. Not a good environment if you don't have an RV."

"Location of the house was great and house is lovely Supper clean! The steps going to lower levell inside the house were treacherous and the mattress needs replacing.. very damp downstairs as well. Slept on couch in living room on my own sheets. Liked the downstairs bathroom and space for changing.. wish they had left life best and paddles for kayak. "

"It was very relaxing. The place was very clean and accurate described. Ann Marie was very nice and very helpful. She willingly shared her knowledge and her grapes and plums as well. The only disappointment was not being able to catch a salmon. One day I will. The place itself is all I expected from a cabin on a lake. And for us the stair climb wasn’t that difficult. Loved the use of the rowboat and canoe.i definitely would stay again. We enjoyed."

"Iam disabled and need assistance walking,the cottage was open concept and easy for me to get around inside. The living space gave a relaxed vibe . Beautiful views. I brought a queen mattress cover that made the queen bed comfortable for myself. If i had to say anything that was an issue it would be the steps to the back yard. "Camp Shah was a fantastic getaway for our extended family. We had such a great time swimming, kayaking, sitting around the fire and playing cards on the screen porch. The only suggestions I have is that the 100lb weight limit on the bunk beds should definitely be listed, and also possibly an upgrade to the refrigerator. Other than that, the property was wonderful and the owners were super responsive, friendly and helpful. I'd rent it again."

"We stayed here for two nights with some family. The place was clean. It was just as advertised in VRBO! We would definitely stay here again! The only thing that could have been a little bit better was communication from the owner about check-in. We didn't get check-in instructions until late the night before we were travelling, but it all worked out. Great time had by all in our group!"

"My friends and I absolutely loved sitting outside on the deck (minus the spiders). It was so relaxing sitting to watch the sunrise while we had breakfast and coffee. We enjoyed using the kayaks. The location was perfect for us to explore the area. It was a little off putting to have to pay a cleaning fee, while being asked to strip the beds, start a load of laundry and sweep/vacuum the house.If being asked to clean, why pay the fee?
