Disappointed
I was disappointed. Bad location, poor breakfast, pool not working.
Old hotel. No water in pool. Rooms were old. Nasty paint job. Needed to leave early and could not checkout since main office closed. Breakfast started at 7 am but I left at 6 am and no breakfast available.
Not bad for an inexpensive room. The motel is a couple miles off I-80 in a seedier part of town. Breakfast is a joke, don't count on it. Staff wasn't very friendly. Overall the room was comfortable enough for us to get a good sleep.

Good place to stay for the night. Nothing fancy but it was clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast is a great way to start the morning.
very good price.. two nights 110.98 for 2 nights.. convinie story right nexed door.. 24 hours.. a little north of the I-80 but wrorth it 4 price and a great stay.. 1 night or more... :)
We arrived late and they answered the bell promptly. We only stayed the night, but the staff was friendly and attentive. The continental was very nice.
This was the last available location we could find in town. It was functional, but I was afraid to walk barefoot on the carpets, and the lobby area that where food is served had a very unpleasant and peculiar smell. The people were nice enough.
Front desk staff extremely friendly but the lobby had such a horrid odor when I checked in and out there would have been no way I could have swallowed food. My kid had three bug bite marks the next morning - um gross. Not going to make any assumptions, simply stating experience. Saving $20 was not worth it this time when searching for a room.

Not worth the cost
I was disappointed by the quality given the cost. We had stayed at a motel down the road that was about the same and the other hotel was HALF the cost.
Nothing wrong with the motel for a clean bed in a clean room in a no frills environment. I was just expecting more as I could have paid just a little more for much better accommodations.
The room was large and comfortable enough and the linen was clean and not rough, but when we checked in, we were told about a $7.00 fee per pet. We have 2 tiny dogs who weigh less then 20 pounds together! We chose this hotel because they accepted pets and the website made no mention of a pet fee, I looked. We paid the fee and had a good rest, but I won't stay there again because I was reminded of a bad car buying experience.
Oh, and if your going to stay, call ahead and make sure there is water in the pool, if it's summertime (a word of advice from a local resident)
There is a family feel about this place. We arrived very late at night and the next morning they extended breakfast just for us. The rooms were clean. Everything worked the way it should have. I would definitely stay again.
The lobby of the hotel smelled like a hundred dogs had peed on the rug and their solution was to dump a bottle of lysol on the carpet. The staff was borderline rude. They gave me a hard time about being two hours later than my requested check-in time. Then we get into the room and it smelled terribly musty. The beds were fairly comfortable and the towels and linen clean, but the carpet looked ancient, most likely being the source of the smell. The air conditioning was insufficient to offset the 95 degree heat outside. The experience felt overpriced. I plunked a hundred smackers for that room. I'm not very happy with expedia either because there was a brand new Rodeway inn 50 miles closer to our starting point and i would have gladly stayed there had i the option.
One word... overpriced. This is an old motel with very small rooms. This was by far the smallest bathroom I have been in. And the hot and cold knobs did not match. Located way off the highway I would only recommend this hotel as a last resort.
Clean and simple.
They reserved the upper floor for us as requested.

EMPTY POOL
really there was only a couple things that I did not like about this hotel. For one thing their pool wasn't filled. They should note this in their reservations so people who plan on swimming aren't completely upset when they get there. It should be noted. There shouldn't be a picture of a nice filled pool on the reservation page. I think that they charge a 30 % fee if you cancel is a bunch a crud! Specially if a family books this hotel because of the rate AND THEY THINK THEY WILL GET TO TAKE A DIP IN THE POOL!

Hotel stay on 19 May 2012
I have no complaints. The Hotel is older, but it is clean and well maintained. It serves our purposes for staying in North Platte. Staff is couertous and they do offer a contential breakfast and inter net service.
We were a very very late arrival and the front desk had everything ready for us so it didn't take long at all to check in. Very cold evening and was worried the room would be freezing, but to our pleasant surprise they had the heat on in the room and was cozy. Pricing was great and the staff was wonderful.
On the expedia website, it said fees and taxes would be assessed by the motel. After passing many very nice motels right off the interstate, we drove a couple of miles into North Platte to this dumpy old motel. Nothing was open (we needed a place to eat and it was 9:30) while everything was open on the interstate. The hotel was clean, but old and I didn't feel safe in that part of town. The people that ran it were nice, but couldn't answer any questions we asked. And the breakfast was very disappointing. To make matter worse, it turned out to be $20 more that the other motels after fees and taxes were added!
