The property was beautiful and the hosts were amazing. We've stayed in several vrbos but this was by far the nicest. The special touches were so appreciated and made us feel so welcome and at home! 100% recommend this to anybody needing a place to stay.

Pristine accomodations.
This is an extra nice place "stocked & loaded" with everything you will need for a short stay. Very peaceful, comfortable and clean. Jerry was a great host and we will be back!

Bright spot of our trip
Just a quick trip to the area to enjoy a nice dinner, visit with friends and to visit Buffalo Bill Ranch and the Golden Spike the next day. We had transmission problems and after arriving later than we expected decided to just "limp" home the next day instead of seeing the sights. When we arrived at Cozy Home, we were very impressed with how clean and well-stocked it was! The owners have made it very welcoming with their little touches throughout the home. We also enjoyed the cookies and snacks they had left for us.

Son’s wedding
We were here for our son’s wedding. To say we were impressed with the house would be an understatement. The place is very beautiful and very clean! The owners thought of everything from toiletries to the snacks and special touches. We will definitely book this place again when coming to North Platte. Thank you for making this trip a little less stressful and a nice place to unwind!

More than we expected
Easy location; nicely decorated; very generously supplied, including fresh baked cookies, loads of snacks, cold drinks and fixings for waffles for breakfast! Very roomy and comfortable; quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed jetted tub after a day in the car. Only drawback are the awkward steps down to main bedroom. Would stay here again and would recommend

Spoiled on our Getaway
Meet up with a good friend at this property for a relaxing weekend. This rental is very spacious with lovely meaningful interior design. The hosts left us cookies, drinks and snacks. There are plenty of toiletries if needed plus towels in many sizes. Just enough great communication. The jetted tub is a huge highlight! It is so spacious. The kitchen is big, has everything you may need and drawers are labeled for ease of finding things! The coffee bar was a highlight for our mornings. The living room furniture is so cozy and comfortable. We were so impressed and would love to meet up here again sometime.

We were so glad to have this home away from home. It was fresh, clean welcoming and surprisingly spacious. The rooms were quiet, the beds were comfortable and it was easy to get good sleep. There was everything you'd expect from a hotel - coffee bar, extra toiletries, playpen, room darkening curtains - and then more. We were happy to see a high chair, games, fans in each room, plus treats and drinks available. If we stayed longer, we would have used the outdoor seating and waffle iron. It was an excellent place to rest and refresh on our long journey!

Family time in N. Platte
Our stay at Jerry and Kelly's place was outstanding. The entire set up was perfect for the group who stayed, and for some of the family who stayed in nearby hotels, but enjoyed hanging out with us due to the space and the welcoming feel of our place. The open concept kitchen/ dining/living area was awesome for keeping us together. Jerry and Kelly have thought of everything to encourage their guests to feel at home and equip them with anything they may have inadvertently left behind. I chose this rental since it also offers a bath and a half, and that was necessary for our group. Also, we were gathered for a family wedding, and there are mirrors in every bedroom, which was great for getting ready. I would highly recommend Jerry and Kelly's place if you are staying in the area. We would rent here again on a future, return trip.

Exceeded expectations!
Outside, it is a small unassuming house ideally located between the Canteen District and the mall. Inside, we were greeted by a modern open home with a large kitchen, comfortable living room and 3 comfortable bedrooms. Extras abound in this rental from snacks and drinks, waffle ingredients, and extra shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes and much more. One would think that the location a block from Dewey would be loud, but the bedrooms seem to be very well insulated. There’s just one TV, but it is very large and smart and easy to sign into our streaming services. There is a sofa bed and 2 comfortable recliners in front of it. To top it off, our hosts were friendly and helpful and available whenever we had a question.

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend. We drove in rain Friday to get there but the remainder of the weekend was warm, dry but windy. We found the property ready for us on Friday night, well stocked and inviting with a surprise of fresh baked cookies to welcome us. We spent Friday evening catching up then took to the road on Saturday visiting Chimney Rock and Scotts Bluff with a wonderful lunch at Sheri's Restaurant in Scotts Bluff. Sunday we spent in North Platte at the Golden Spike Tower with more family time together Sunday evening. As for the property, it was wonderful, spacious and met our needs in a nice quiet location. The only suggestion, because of the age of three of us, would be to add grab bar hardware around the stools and tub/shower area. We cannot recommend this property enough to any family looking for a clean, quiet, spacious location to spend quality time with family and friends, yet in a location that provides plenty of opportunities to brush up on American History from the expansion of America via the Oregon Trail and how North Platte became known throughout the WORLD during WWII by providing some needed elements of home to so many service men and women traveling through to unknown locations in both the European and Pacific Theaters of operation. North Platte continues to represent the best of what the upper midwest has to offer the world, that spirit of welcome to everyone. It is great that, with the exception of the North Platte Canteen, so much of the town's historic district has been preserved for others to enjoy. We intend to spread the word and to return for more of the same.

This was our first rental experience and I am now a Vrbo fan. The house and hospitality exceeded every expectation. There were so many appreciated extras. I don't know if we will have reason to go back to that area, but I highly recommend it to anyone who is.
