Description:
This Chandos Lake cottage rental is located near Doc Evans Island, approximately 10 minutes from the Town of Apsley.
Living Area 1 :
The interior features an open kitchen, dining, and living room with wood ceilings and a stone fireplace – a very cozy setting. There is a large TV and Internet. Up the spiral staircase, there are three bedrooms (double, two singles, double) as well as the 4 piece washroom and a small loft. The master has a beautiful lake view.
Living Area 2:
A few stairs from here take you to the next “wing” of this cottage and there also is a separate entrance here. Here you will find another living room with satellite TV a second fridge and sink, a gas fireplace, and 2 more bedrooms (room 1 sleeps 5: bunk bed with double on bottom & single on top, bunkbed; room 2 sleeps 5: bunk bed with double on top & bottom, bunk bed with double on bottom & single on top)
Living Area 3:
There is also the very large games room with pool table, darts, bar area with fridge, couch & sitting area, woodstove and TV.
The lot from the cottage to the lake is generally flat and grassy. There are a few steps down to the dock and beach area. The water off the dock (12×14 with swim ladder) is approximately 6-7 feet deep and there is a small shallow sandy beach area as well for younger kids to play. (There may be a few weeds here, however, the owners plan to rake them).
At the lake, there is also a large bunkie with a large deck (16×8) with glass rails. This is a great place to relax right at the water’s edge with beautiful views!
This cottage is also very close to Marvel Rapids Golf. ( Also only 5 min. to the very large Chandos Lake sandy beach- the last pictures in the “photos” section are of Chandos Beach)

* * Although there is a cleaning service, guests are still required to leave the cottage in a neat, clean, and tidy state. Please remember this is a privately owned home, not a housekeeping cottage or hotel. Extra cleaning charges will be billed if necessary.
