"The property was fantastic and we would definitely stay again. The constant rain kept us from enjoying the outdoor setting however we were very comfortable indoors. Marie was an excellent host and takes great pride in keeping her property clean!"

"We stayed at this property for the annual Toowoon Bay ocean swim and it was a great spot due to the location being walking distance to the beach. Self contained so it was easy to make meals with even some provision of basic long life goods (tinned foods/spices) which we didn’t use but great to be on offer. The house is small but just what is required, 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen, bathroom with laundry facilities, dining and lounge with an outdoor seating area. It was very clean and modern, felt...

"Lovely old home with fireplace and excellent cooking facilities. Property is huge and has charm. Great deck to sit and look out at the river with peace and quiet, no neighbours. River access is very narrow (fishing not possible) and the mud at low tide is very deep (not possible to walk on). We suspected this before booking but didn't realise how bad the mud actually was until sinking in it when we tried to walk. "We could not recommend this beautiful cottage enough. The absolute perfect location walking distance to everything in Avalon and a 2min drive to whale or palm beach. Dee was an amazing host everything in the house is super clean & low maintenance. We will definitely be back this year!"
