"Very friendly staff at St Leonards and every part of my stay was so easy. Food prepared and served quickly and the room was very clean. Only downside was if you have a room at the front of the hotel it becomes very noisy at night as the hotel is right on the A31."

"Great sea views from bedroom at a reasonable price. Comfortable beds.Taps not marked H. & C. Stairs needed cleaning. No comfortable lounge area only assorted pub chairs. Easy access to usual pub food all day but fried breakfast overcooked. Very helpful & friendly staff."

"Older property with a pub below. We liked our stay except for the sloping roof (ceiling) room, where we kept banging our heads. "

"Room was comfortable however the seagulls kept us awake every morning from 5am walking on the roof (Room5) There were a couple of examples where ingredients listed for food items on the menu were left out, proving to be a disappointment for some dishes. The gnocchi didn't have any chestnuts, The pancakes didn't have coconut yoghurt for example. More vegetarian options would have been welcomed."
