Somewhere Inn Calabogie
5/5 Excellent
Great hospitality in a small little area!
"My partner and I decided to have a little R&R for a couple of days. We randomly ended up at Somewhere Inn Calabogie. We had a wonderful stay! The hospitality was absolutely amazing (everybody was so friendly and wonderful) and they would communicate with you via text, if you needed anything. On the last day, we had a LOT of snow, and we were afraid that we were going to have a hard time getting outta the area, but luckily, they had some people come through to help not only shovel the snow, but also help get some of the snow off our car. It was very sweet of them.
There isn't *too* much to do in Calabogie proper, except for maybe hiking in Eagle's Nest (we went end of March 2025). So prepare for this! I think it would've been really fun if we came here during the summer or fall. We ended up going to the day spa in Gatineau for one day, and then to Ottawa for another. All about 50 minutes to an hour away.
One other warning is that if you have loud neighbours, it might be a tad annoying. We luckily only had loud neighbours for one evening. Somewhere Inn provides you with ear plugs to help with this, but unfortunately they were fairly loud.
Otherwise, we had a nice little getaway from the bustling city of Toronto!"
