"The house is older, with single-pane glass windows, old wooden plank floors, and so on. It looks charming (my children compared it to the house where Petterson and Findus live), with a nice porch and its own bit of yard. The kids loved the beds in their room. The hosts and parents live close by and are very friendly and helpful. "The unit was as shown in the pictures in a very beautiful rural location. It was a convenient 10 minute ride into Savsjo, if you needed anything. The owner was very attentive and easy to work with. There is a challenge with the water (a dry spring season led to low level in the well during our stay) that currently eliminates use of the jetted tub and could lead to other limitations. Suggest discussing with the owner ahead of time."

"This is a small cabin. The toilet and shower are in the main building. There are 2 bunk beds. Refridgerator, coffee maker, water cooker and a microwave oven. It is not a 5 star hotel. It's a small cabin. But it's cozy and not expensive. And the staff is welcoming. The view is really good - trees and a lake."
