"I thought i just needed a place to sleep for the night. It turns out what i REALLY needed was a night at the spa. Everything was incredibly quiet and comfortable. Angelina was behind the counter and made everything flow seamlessly. She really went the extra mile to ensure i had a wonderful visit. "Hotel Carlia provided us a comfortable stay for our one night in Uddevalla. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains conveniently shielded us from any of the light during midsummer. The room was clean, though a bit outdated in the bathroom. Plenty of space throughout. It would have been nice to have more climate control as it felt rather hot and humid in the room. "A good room. To be 'great', in-room USB charge ports would be appreciated. In-room coffee machine, such as Keurig, or similar would be nice. Face cloths in the washrooms, rather than full hand towels would also be appreciated. No clock in the room. A simple digital clock would be nice."

"Lovely property for a nights stay. Clean and comfortable rooms. Checked in on a Sunday but communication was good prior to inform how to check in. Breakfast included and a good selection. Helpful and friendly checkin service. Free parking behind hotel. Would stay again. "

"We booked a couple of nights at this property. There are two buildings, the main one where the reception is located and another building close by where we stayed the first night. As we arrived on a Friday evening, we had a room on the first floor of the annex which has a bar under it that closes at 2am so we could not sleep until then. "The house is just a regular villa without any extra soundproofing so when other guests stumbled in at one o'clock superdrunk everyone hears it. The guests then locked themselves in both bathrooms and started violently puking for everyone to hear. One other guest were sleeping off the whiskey in the living room couch. "Well in it's day I bet it was a smart hotel,it needs a bit of TLC but it was budget hotel so you don't have high expectations,but I did not expect a broken shower holder, and the shower screen was not on it's rails correctly and black mold ,it was a good bathroom apart from that and the room was ok "
