"Friendly staff. Dinner is lovely at Tavan. Breakfast included and it isn't too bad. Comfortable beds with spacious rooms! I've stayed here a few times already and highly recommend it."

"I really liked how the history of the hotel and its modern updating just seemed to fit together. I was impressed with its layout, the ample space, seating and tabling available for guests to sit outside and socialise. The staff were very helpful, assisting with any query we had with patience and politeness. The bedroom was very well equipped, with seating for two and ample storage space without it being overbearing. Very comfortable nights sleep was had and the food was very good and cooked to our requests. A very pleasant, relaxing stay in a clean, tidy homely accommodation in a small market town, steeped in history. I will visit Oundle again and I will stay at The Talbot Hotel."
