3 BR Beach Bungalow Minutes to the Beach! Dogs Allowed!

Want to be a 2 minute walk from the beach? Say no more! This cozy bungalow is just what the doctor ordered for you and your family, your significant other, or dare I say, your pups. Come one, come all. Walk the 1 block to the bay in the morning, build your castles, wade in the clear calm bay water, go home for lunch or a bathroom break, then come back for more fun. If you're done with the bay, walk to the local brewery & BBQ joint for some food & drink, or relax on the large back deck!

We love the natural light in this cozy bungalow. This is our first listing, but the bungalow is known to us and used as a family beach (bay house). Easy place to kick off your shoes, relax, and let the worries drift away. It is a 5 min drive to the local grocery, Starbucks, Bold Mariner Brewery (walking distance), and other local restaurants like the Ocean View Pier. You will have the entire house which is a 15 or 20 minute drive to Norfolk Naval Base, EVMS/Norfolk general, Historic Ghent with all its fine dining, downtown Norfolk, Town Point Park, Half Moone Cruise Center, USS Wisconsin, Norfolk Tides stadium, and so much more. 30 min drive to Virginia Beach oceanfront. Back porch is spacious and great for gathering after a long sunny day. Backyard with doggy door is great for the woofers. We have a metal crate and a wooden crate for your pets.

Family Time

Great rental!
This is a great property, especially if you have furbabies! I just returned from a trip with my son, mom, and our 2 little dogs. Fenced in backyard is great! The owner really put great care and thought into this rental. There is literally everything you you could need! And the beach is just across the street!

Super cute and comfy!
We could not be any happier with this property! It was exactly what we needed for a short visit with our son and his family. We have no complaints what-so-ever! You can walk to the beach in less than five minutes. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio watching the kids play and it was the ideal space for their dog too. Very close to stores and parks too. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for accommodating such a great visit!

The place is awesome, close to everywhere we needed to go, and my dogs absolutely loved the yard! I couldnt have had a better experience. Easy, convenient, clean, and clear communication.

Overall experience was positive. Especially grateful for the pet friendliness of the house- crate at house so that meant not having to transport a crate and the fenced backed yard was wonderful. The house was comfortable and the kitchen was updated. Beds were fine but the couch was uncomfortable and so low that it was difficult for my husband to get up and down without assistance. I should have given more consideration to the idea of having 1 bath for 5 users- but that is not on the owner-it was an adjustment. The street the house is on was okay, but going in the wrong direction a couple blocks could put you in a sketchy area. Again, super friendly and responsive host but I probably would want to find a little more safe feeling neighborhood.
