"This was the final stop on our journey (and our most anticipated). We stayed in Deshaies to experience the “Death in Paradise” primary filming location. The property was a little haven to rest, have coffee in the AM and just chill from a busy day. "We had a lovely restful vacation at Les Vanilles. Clarisse is an excellent host, very welcoming and helpful. The gite is just right for a relaxing holiday for a couple- quiet, comfortable, and well located for exploring the Deshaies area & west coast of Basse Terre. We particularly enjoyed walking the coastal trail from Deshaies north to Grande Anse & beyond to beaches to the north, and swimming/snorkelling at local beaches."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Ghislaine’s place, it had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including a full kitchen with gas hob, air conditioning in the bedroom and good parking for a car outside within her secure gated home.
