"We made a spur of the moment decision to travel to Devonport (from Hobart) so that we could then go to Cradle Mountain, after the overnight stay. The room we stayed in (2 x queen bed, port view) was very comfortable and great value ($181 per night). The only thing slightly annoying was the lack of car parking options close to the hotel, we reluctantly paid a $25 concierge fee, at least the car was secure. Overall, we would recommend. "Motel was clean and easy to find Parking because of angle of parks wasnt the easiest No chances of looking at menu for breakfast. Went to give to us but then took and asked if we wanted bacon and eggs. No refreshment menu given"

"The hotel was fine. I dropped a star because I got 3 notifications telling me the it is required to contact the hotel before checking in on the day of check in, but those notification did not provide a way to contact the hotel. So I spend way too much time trying to figure it out. When, I finally got there, the girl said there is no reason to contact the hotel before checking in. This is just annoying bad management and communication. On the plus side, the place had a great gym."

"Lovely clean room but not very sound proof, could hear conversations in next room quite clearly. Would not recommend the dining downstairs salad meal needed a life jacket to save it from drowning in the vinaigrette dressing. Plate of vegetables was not as advertised and smothered in dried hard herbs and over cooked. "

"Really nice host and really appreciated the locally sourced groceries provided on arrival. Place was a bit stuffy and dusty but overall was a really nice place. Really liked that it had some history to it and that we had a field of sheep and alpaca right outside. "
