"The location is wonderful with game regularly visiting the river from the Kruger opposite. When we arrived, about a dozen elephant were wading across and hippo were wallowing. "Booked through Expedia, arrived at 3 AM to a room full of insect bombs and dead cockroaches. Was told it wasn’t the hotel’s fault because it was a private renter’s unit, and if I wanted a clean room, I had to pay more. Got kicked out by 10 AM anyway. "We liked the hosts Colin and Carolien so much. They could not do enough for us. We asked for a bigger room and we got the biggest room I have ever had in a lodge! They even drove us to get food and were such great company. The lodge was brilliant - very African. Zebras came right up to us! the wildlife in Marloth Park is very tame. The lodges are African style so quite dark as designed to be cool. Colin and Carolien had a generator which worked when the power was out which was often. "

"We loved our stay at the Wild Bunch house. We were greeted by Liresia on arrival. The house was well presented and clean. We had everything we needed. This is a beautiful house. Theres no need to go anywhere but laze at the pool and wait for animals to arrive. The best part was feeding our daily wildlife visitors ... the Kudu, Wildebeest, Warthogs, bushbuck and the nighttime visit from bushbabies. We highly recommend the The Wild Bunch House !!"
