"this hotel is right by the beach, the area looks a little bit shady when coming at night, like a gentrified hipster area, but during the day you can see they have alot of shops and the free access to the onsen is wonderful, apparently on clear days you can see mt. fuji from the outdoor pool. the mini house room we stayed in was super cool and comfortable. and theres an amazing italian restaurant 5 min walking from the hotel called castigliona which is cash only so bring alot with you, but...

There were splashes of food and cobwebs on the walls, long hairs in the bathroom, leaves and debris in the fridge, and something in the hall closet had a rancid smell that permeated into the bedroom. Upon expressing this concern to the management they told us to turn on some airflow and that they'd look at it *after* we checked out. Not helpful at all. "The property was very clean and spacious. The hosts instructions were very clear with lots of information about nearby shopping, restaurants and hot springs. The car park was very close to the property as well as the station being one minute away. The beach is also a one minute walk. I highly recommend this property for both small and large groups. "
