"Great central location from which to explore the Borders region from Bamburgh to Melrose ; from the Alnwick Gardens to Edinburgh. After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful . "This is a superb cottage, finished to an excellent standard and very well equipped. There is no phone signal or WiFi which some people may not like but for us that just added to the feel of having a proper getaway in The Borders countryside. You can’t walk on the immediate estate but that really doesn’t matter as there are plenty of walks in the area. "Beautiful roomy property with lovely large kitchen with additional living room. Enclosed garden was great! Location was very good, and was handy for many towns and tourist spots. Only issue was that a few of the beds sagged in the middle but there were others to choose from cause some of our party couldn’t make it. "

"The Stables Cottage includes a foyer, eat-in kitchen, sitting room, and bathroom with tub and shower downstairs. The two bedrooms were upstairs plus a bathroom with shower only. We loved every minute. The kitchen had an apartment size/dorm-size refrigerator, double oven with 4-burner stove top, small sink with spigot and dish-drying rack, dishwasher, and washing machine. "We asked that a different email be used on 9/4 as i no longer have access to the email used. No acknowledgment of this was received. Again we asked on 9/22, the day before our checkin, that you use our new email provided. Absolutely no response to our request, no one responded to our request or answer the "emergency" no. We received the passcode by text, and a response TO that text went unanswered as well. Extremely disappointed. Will not use Vrbo again."

"We had a wonderful week at Langrig. Perfect setting, nestled by the beautiful Eildon Hills. The accommodation was excellent, for my mum, in particular, as she has mobility issues. Rob was extremely helpful and welcoming too. It is clear that the whole estate is well managed and maintained with the guests in mind. We will definitely be back."
