"The room was small but everything you need was there. Very clean. There is natural spring water bath on the 10th floor which I loved. The relaxing room next to it smelled a bit cigarette. The washing machine is free and the dryer is ¥100 for 20 minutes. The hospital is near by and you might hear ambulance sometimes."

"I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and it was great. Coming back after 5 years a little different. Need to improve on the cleanliness. Pillow smells like it hasn't change at all. Curtains has a lot of stains and air conditioning not working well. This hotel need to refurbish or improve on the cleaning. If i return to Hirosaki, I will opp for another hotel."

"Hostel was not at the location provided in listing but 1.1 km away from the lake. Self-check in was fin but hostel was run down with many lights not working, cobwebs in hallways. Rooms were booked with private bathrooms but there was no private bathrooms. Bathrooms were communal and there was no shower just sinks with buckets. Sheets were clean but rooms had broken a/c, smelled of fumigation but there were still bugs, broken drawers and lights. It was the worst hostel I have stayed in. We booked three rooms across two reservations and one rooms was so bad that two people ended up sleeping in one room. Said there was free breakfast but it was only toast and coffee/tea. Do not recommend!"

"30 minute walk from station or 10 minutes bus ride with 5 minutes walk or quick or affordable taxi. Onsen was great. Lots of amenities. Park with cherry blossoms, convenience store, and restaurants within walking distance. Beds are comfortable. Overall, a great stay. Thank you!"

"The hotel has ample parking and the staff are very friendly. The only drawback is that the bathroom is very small. However, it is a very nice place to stay and the price is very reasonable. "

"A true B&B-style experience a short distance from Hirosaki station, the hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming and the facility is charmingly decorated with memorabilia of their family. It feels like you're being adopted for a couple days by sweet Japanese grandparents."
