"There were some maintenance issues when we checked in but our room was upgraded to make our stay comfortable. We were offered the services of the hotel transport which we took. Hussian the driver was friendly and had good knowledge of the area which made our tours enjoyable. Overall we found the hotel nice & comfortable with good food and friendly staff. Thanks to Deizy for a smooth check in despite the maintenance issues. We recommend this hotel but be mindful of the challenges in Len , especially during winter."

"Its relatively new property. Staff is helpful. RO water refills are available for free in glass bottles. Manager helped us plan the itinerary and he and his front desk staff always remained eager to help us with permits, sight seeing, info on shopping, local cuisine and places to go. "

"I really enjoyed both my stays at The Pal. It's a very nice property, well-kept, a convenient short walk from the main market. The stroll down the street never got old. The room was tidy. The shower was plenty refreshing after an 8-day trek. Breakfast was good. The staff was especially friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my time at The Pal and look forward to staying again next time I visit wonderful Leh. "

"Nice hotel about a 25 minute walk to main town area. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the balcony. The meals they cooked were also good. The staff tried to help us with getting some permits to see outside areas, but had difficulty; we ended up having to get it on our own."

"Absolutely beautiful cabin set in the middle of an apricot orchard with wood burning stoves in each room and heaters in the beds. The service was fantastic and the food was great. We're going back. "
