"We had a great stay at the Chaya. In particular the staff were all very friendly and attentive. As for the room, it was very clean, spacious and kept to a high standard. We didn’t have breakfast and didn’t tour the local area so can’t comment, but for the pool and the room we would highly recommend this hotel. Short taxi away from the airport and the Old town and local enough for tours to collect us from the hotel. "

"All staff are very friendly and efficient. The food was all lovely and the pool was a great place to cool down, although we would have liked a handrail to aid getting out again. There is no designated bar area so nowhere to sit when coming back to the hotel in the evening, which meant we often purchased drinks at 7-eleven and drank in our room - this is not a negative comment, just an observation."

"One of the better hotels I have stayed in . Absolutely amazing location with abundance of coffee shops , boutics, restaurants and even a nice jazz bar The hotel itself is beautiful. Clean with art everywhere . Staff is very welcoming , at the reception as well as at the restaurants and bars. I liked it so much that I have extended my stay by 3 more nights . "

"Amazing place in the city all went great just few points for improvement - room service and restaurant to have a bar with pool - spa closes at 5 pm so after a day of activities u will need to source outside Nothing major but that above would ensure more time spent . Oh yes planes fly by a few times do if ur a light sleeper wear plugs . "
