Finca-private pool-very quiet location-sole use-ideal for families

The Finca Molino los Arcos is a completely renovated Andalusian watermill which is very quiet and away from tourism. The mill is part of a three-hectare plot that can be found 615 m above sea level. The detached cottage with about 140 square meters of living space is well insulated against heat and cold and has three bedrooms, a spacious open kitchen overlooking the terrace, a bathroom with shower and a bathroom with bath, two courtyards and a large living area of ​​cozy is set up. There is a large dining table where the whole family will find space and a comfortable seating area. Through a round door is the sleeping area which is located in the rear of the house separated from the living area. In front of the house is the covered terrace including a brick bench. Even after sunset, a wonderful place to stay under a clear starry sky for undisturbed breathing and relaxing.


Beaches: 25 km away is the Cabo de Gata Natural Park with beautiful beaches. (Films like 'The Baron von Münchhausen' and scenes for 'Indiana Jones' were filmed here).

Circuito de Almeria Motorcycle Circuit: The Circuito de Almeria Motorcycle Circuit is about 40 km away
The racetrack is about 4 kilometers from Tabernas and is an ideal 'Aufzünd-Areal' for the cold winter months.
Almeria is a typical Spanish race track. The gravel beds and run-off zones were completely renewed in 2007 and now meet the standard of GP routes.
In the winter months, the German driver elite meets here to test.

Peaceful getaway
About a 15 minute drive outside the town of Nijar, voted one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. The house is simple, but very clean and in a nice quiet location. It is located on the Ruta del agua (water route), which was a perfect adventure for our 10 year old son. The location is up in the mountains, so walking is quite strenuous, but worth the effort. You can drive to the coast in about 40 minutes, with beautiful secluded beaches and great walking areas, as well as plenty of local shops and restaurants. In summary, we very much recommend this cottage as a location for people who enjoy nature and prefer piece and quiet over quick access to bars/restaurants.

Traumhafter entspannender Urlaub
Ein Urlaub in dem alles gepasst hat. Im vorfeld auf alle fragen zum Objekt super schnell geantwortet. Bei der Anreise beim Check in und auch beim Check out, alles bestens funktioniert und super freundlich. Das Gebäude ist einfach wunderschön gelegen, für spanische Verhältnisse im sehr guten zustand. Der Pool traumhaft gelegen, schön groß mit einer super Aussicht. Die Innenhöfe sind auch noch mal extra zu erwähnen super praktisch. Alles hat funktioniert, selbst das Internet war für die abgelegene Gegend super. Für unsere 2 Kinder (7 &10 Jahre) war alles perfekt und für unsere 3 Hunde (alles Border Collies) war es auch super. Man kann einfach nur sagen es war perfekt.

Spaghetti Western
The scenery is like something from a Spaghetti Western, so here's my review. The Good : Property had everything needed for a long stay, bottled water, logs for the burner and a fully equipped kitchen. Loads of space, nice bathrooms loads of towels and satellite tv and a decent wifi connection. The Bad : Outdoor space could be better, could do with a fenced area for dogs or young children and some sunbeds for relaxing. The Ugly: Dead mouse in the pool, in fairness the pool wasn't in use as we were there in March. Overall we enjoyed our stay up in the mountains, the property felt like a mountain hideaway. Lovely walking all around but for a Few Dollars More the outside space could be improved and it wouldn't take a Fistfull of Dollars to get some comfortable seating outside. Sadly we had to cut our trip to Spain short because one of our dogs fell ill, but Peter, the property manager, allowed us to stay an extra night when it looked like we were going to be stranded. So thanks Peter.

Lugar con un encanto muy especial
La casa tenía vajilla, utensilios de cocina, almohadas etc. de sobra. La limpieza muy buena. Peter la persona encargada de hacerte pasar unos días inolvidables muy simpático y atento. Perfecto si lo que buscas es tranquilidad y paz mientras conoces el cabo de Gata. Se tarda media hora en llegar a las playas porque está en la montaña, pero merece la pena teniendo en cuenta el lugar tan bonito en el que te alojas. LA casa es muy cómoda, y no le falta detalle. Miguel

Een heerlijk vakantiehuis, rustig en prachtig gelegen net boven Nijar
El Molino de los Arcos is een aanrader voor wandelaars ,vogelaars en rustzoekers. Het huis voelt goed en is zeer compleet ingericht. We zijn in februari geweest en elke avond snorde de houtkachel en was het lekker warm in huis. De omgeving is prachtig en op korte afstand liggen de prachtigste strandjes tussen de bergen in het enorme natuurgebied Cabo de Gata. Er zijn overal langs de kust en in de omgeving van het huis " senderos" die prima gemarkeerd zijn. Nijar is een authentiek Andalisisch stadje en de bevolking is er erg aardig. We waren er drie weken en de tijd vloog. We tapten bronwater af in Huebro om te drinken. Heerlijk. We gaan vast een keer terug.

Molino Los Arcos is n geweldig huis, op fantastiche locatie (zeker als je van rust houdt).
De finca is prachtig en van (bijna) alle gemakken voorzien. Wat we toch hebben gemist waren goeie stoelen op het terras en strandstoelen om mee te nemen.

Heerlijk huis op een prachtige plek
De finca is ons erg goed bevallen. De woning is ruim en goed uitgerust. Het huis ligt erg mooi en het uitzicht op de bergen is prachtig. Veel rust, ruimte en privacy. De kinderen genoten van het ontdekken van het grote perceel, en het heerlijke frisse zwembad. In de omgeving is genoeg te doen, mooie wandelingen of naar leuke stranden, maar ook Almeria is een bezoek waard.

Frühling in Nijar
Wir haben uns in der Finca sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden von Peter sehr herzlich empfangen und mit guten Tipps versorgt. Das sehr saubere, wirklich gut ausgestattete Ferienhaus besticht durch seine Lage hoch über Nijar. Wer Natur pur abseits des Massentourismus genießen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Bei kühlen Nachttemperaturen verbrachten wir gemütliche Stunden bei einem wärmenden Holzfeuer in der Finca. Wir möchten uns auf diesem Weg noch einmal für die gute Betreuung bedanken und kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Peaceful and rustic, recommended
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is very quiet and peaceful, away from any noise. The beds are comfortable and there are shutters on the windows, so we slept very well. There are nice walks nearby, up to the little enclave of Huebro and down to Nijar. The drive up to the house is spectacular with great views! There's plenty to do in the area around Almeria so we were very active all week.

Superschönes Ferienhaus in der Natur
Wer es gerne ruhig und etwas abgelegen mag, der wird dieses Haus lieben. die Lage ist etwas erhöht in der Bergregion überhalb Nijar. Das Haus ist top ausgestattet mit allem was das Herz begehrt: Geschirrspülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Toaster, Mikrowelle, top Küchenausstattung für alle die gerne kochen, viele Kinderspielsachen, Spiele, Bücher, CD's..Alles in perfektem Zustand, sauber. Das Haus ist sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Uns hat es sehr gefallen und wir werden gerne wieder kommen! Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer und Hausübergabe hat alles perfekt geklappt. Vielen Dank für die schönen Ferien!

Delightful stay near Nijar
My wife and I stayed in this delightful house, which is in the countryside between Nijar and Huebro. The house is well-equipped and has a charming rustic style. There are a range of beautiful walks from the house, which also has a lovely pool. It would be great if there could be a few more sun umbrellas and possibly another sun lounger at the pool, but that is just a small recommendation as we very much enjoyed lounging here. It would enhance the experience for a family. Nijar is close, only a few kilometres away. It has some nice restaurants which serve the local specialities. If you want to go to the beach there are many only 30 minutes drive away. Our favourite was Agua Amarga. I wouldn't hesitate to book the house again. It was a truly restful break. Thank you Hartmut and Peter. Our very best wishes to you!

Paraje estupendo!
La casa está equipada con todo lo que necesites. La tranquilidad es absoluta. Salvando que aveces pasa por la puerta algún coche y algunas bicis y personas caminando. Pero no es en absoluto molesto. Estar en la piscina con la montaña en frente es una maravilla. En contra las almohadas no son muy cómodas y por las noches problemas con la tele perdía la conexión y no se vía ningún canal. La parabolica todos canales extranjeros. Peter el casero muy simpático y disponible. En líneas generales muy bien. Repetiría sin dudarlo

Viva Huebro
Hemos disfrutado mucho nuestras breves vacaciones en la casa de Hartmut en Huebro. La casa es preciosa, espaciosa, y está perfectamente equipada. El entorno del valle de Huebro es un auténtico paraíso y un remanso de paz. La única pega: La casa se anuncia como que está "fuera de los caminos" lo cual no es cierto. Recomiendo eliminar dicha descripción porque puede dar lugar a malos entendidos. El terreno tiene una servidumbre de paso; es una pista de tierra que baja hasta la casa y continua hasta el siguiente cortijo (Cortijo de Sofía) y sube hasta el pueblo. No es un camino muy transitado, pero pasa justo por delante de la entrada/porche de la casa, por lo que no es raro ver pasar a caminantes, ciclistas y moteros a escasos metros del porche mientras se degusta el desayuno/comida/cena. Insisto, no es un problema grave, pero resta intimidad a la estancia. Por último agradecer a Peter Lederberger (Encargado de entrega de llaves y cuidados de la casa) su amabilidad y disponibilidad.

Ein Traum!
Dieser Teil von Andalusien ist ja nun bekannt dafür, dass dort viele berühmte Filme gedreht wurden. Vor allem zwischen Almeria und San Jose` und in der Taberna- Wüste. Wer einmal dort war, weiß warum. Die Landschaft ist einfach atemberaubend! Der ganze Landstrich dort ist ein großer Film. Dort führt Schönheit, Entspannung, Gelassenheit und Scharm Regie. Die Berge, die Küste, die verträumten spanischen Dörfer Nijar und Huebro, zwischen den wir gewohnt haben, sind zum Glück keine Kulissen sondern echt. Man könnte so etwas ohnehin nicht nachbauen. Hier sind es die Einheimischen die noch die Hauptrolle haben. Touristen sind eher Statisten (jedenfalls Anfang Juni). Wenn wir Oscars vergeben könnten, wir würden einen für die grandiose Landschaft dort vergeben, einen für Peter Ledergerber der uns so wunderbar betreut und unterhalten hat und einen ganz besonderen Oscar an den Besitzer der Finca, Herrn Putz. Wir sind schon viel herum gekommen auf dieser Kugel, und haben immer in Privatunterkünften gewohnt, aber wir haben noch nie so ein liebevoll und perfekt ausgestattetes Haus bewohnen dürfen. Liebevoll und perfekt innen und außen. Mit wieviel Herzblut Herr Putz und sicherlich auch dessen Familie diese alte Mühle wieder hergerichtet haben ist unglaublich. Hut ab !!!! Die Lage ist ein Traum, der Pool ist ein Traum. Selbst die Straße dort hin, ist ein Traum. Jedenfalls für uns. Wir lieben das ;-) Gerne hätten wir den Besitzer samt Familie kennen gelernt. Wer eine derartige Handschrift hinterlässt, wird auch als Mensch ein Genuss sein! Danke, dass wir dort wohnen dürften und halten Sie bitte an diesem Juwel fest ;-) Wir kommen wieder! Erholsame Ferien an einem wunderschönen Platz abseits von allem Massentourismus
Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in der Finca Molina und haben es wieder sehr genossen. Der zwar etwas abenteuerliche Weg von Nijar bis zur Finca ist für ungeübte und unsichere Fahrer eine kleine Herausforderung, aber es lohnt sich, die Strasse zu fahren und in der Finca zu logieren. Die Abgeschiedenheit, die Ruhe, die wunderbare Natur mit den vielen Pflanzen haben viel dazu beigetragen. Die Finca selber ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Man merkt ihr an, dass sie in Privatbesitz ist da sie von einer persönlichen Note geprägt ist und man überall spürt, dass Menschen mit dieser Finca verbunden sind, die sie pflegen und sie schätzen. Es hat wirklich rundum alles was das Herz begehrt - sofern man die Ruhe und das Individuelle geniesst. Innert kurzer Zeit ist man mit dem Autoa auch am Meer und kann dort die Klippen und den Strand auf vielfältige Art geniessen. Wir danken Herrn Putz und Herrn Ledergerber herzlich für das schöne und liebenswerte Feriendomizil und können uns gut vorstellen ein drittes Mal an diesem Ort unsere Ferien zu verbringen.

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus in Andalusien
Sehr schönes geräumiges und sehr gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus. Es fehlt hier wirklich an nichts. Vor allem auch der schöne Pool den wir Mitte September noch nutzen konnten. Die Temperatur des Pools war immer noch 21 Grad. Der Pool kann nachts beleuchtet werden und man hat einen grandiosen Ausblick in die Natur und die Berge. Das richtige um zu entspannen und die Gedanken im Kopf laufen zu lassen. Das Haus selbst war trotz der Außentemperaturen angenehm kühl. Abends auf der Terrasse konnten wir verschiedene Tiere beobachten. Ein Fuchs kam immer wieder mal in gebührigen Abstand vorbei. Auch tagsüber sahen wir wilde Bergziegen und Rebhühner. Die verschieden Strände sind in 20 Minuten erreichbar und im September wenn die Hauptreisezeit vorbei ist sehr erholsam. Da es sich beim Capo de Gata um ein Naturschutzgebiet handelt ist alles noch sehr ursprünglich, ohne große Hotels die nahe am Strand sind. Es gibt auch noch kleine einsame Strände wo man fast ganz alleine sein kann. Im Ferienhaus gibt es dazu auch sehr viel Information und auch Peter der Verwalter des Hauses kümmerte sich rührend um alles. Dieses Haus können wir wirklich weiterempfehlen. Gabriele K.
