"The Emerald is a beautiful, homey place and I enjoy stopping there on my frequent trips. It's affordable, and simple (no extra accessories), but I am good with that. Always very clean. They are very convenient coming from the airport on the hourly shuttle service. Being a single lady traveling alone, I would appreciate it if the door were a little stronger (no loose door knob, a sturdier lock, etc.) just for securit's sake, but otherwise I am happy with the property and services. We were 2 couples that paid a week in advance through Hotels.com, confirmation was emailed and I phoned 3 times to confirm because we were going to arrive a bit earlier because we have a wedding close by. "Upon arrival they did not have any record of my reservation however they did honor it once I showed my receipt. Called for airport transport but no answer. Took taxi (more expensive) to the locked gate. Proceeded around the corner and waited at a coffee house until they answered the phone. Once there however they were very pleasant and accommodating. "

"Mold around the bathtub, cockroaches, spiders and moths in room, main TV did not work, missing light bulbs/various different light bulbs, asked them to change and also install where missing. Pool was dirty, debris in pool and a chair, mattress was very hard and uncomfortable, the safe did not work, offered us a free breakfast due to the cockroach issue. Staff was the only good thing. Definitely needs refurbishing."

"Not recommended at all! Went at first room they show me to stay in, 1 window handle missing and anyone can climb in at anytime, almost no cellphone connection except with their wifi, I asked for another room, used cup in zink, no kettle, bed not neatly made and on top, next morning early I need to go and the door cant open from inside, I needed to scream for help and the door could be opened from outside. Praise Christ Jesus my Lord for protection the whole night as nobody came open my rooms'...
