"A lovely rural location very quiet and charming hosts. A car is essential and there is a nearby lake Saint-Pardoux with numerous activities. Late check-in at 6.00pm made the first day challenging. Hosts Louise and James were fantastic and very helpful."

"This place is great. When we booked the Gîte, we didn’t realize the place has camping and glamping sites, too. We look forward to going back in the warmer months to try them out. It’s in a quiet setting with great views. There’s a hiking trail on the property which winds through the really pretty fields and woods they have. Once we received our entry code, understood parking, and realized we had to push REALLY hard to open the room door after entering code (I felt like I was breaking in), it is truly a lovely space. Be prepared to walk up additional stairs if on 3rd level, as the lift only serves to 2nd floor. "Would had a two night stay one on the Friday and one on the Sunday and during both stays the staff were so helpful, considerate, and very pleasant especially Etienne and Jamel we will definitely stay again. The breakfast was really good value 😊"
