"Hier hat alles gestimmt. Tolles, gut ausgestattetes Haus in absolut ruhiger Umgebung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Herr Oncken hat sich, telefonisch erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. So einen bemühten, freundlichen Vermieter haben wir selten erlebt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Location of the house is within the grounds of the owners property so is private and not overlooked by neighbours. Quiet and peaceful. The cottage is quite old inside and is in need of updating and modernising. We heard mice in the bedroom but this is to be expected as the house is in woodland. Overall a pleasent stay."

"Who wouldn’t want to stay in an old windmill in beautiful countryside? However, the conversion is better suited to families with children, rather than four adults, as in our party. There is no door between the two bedrooms, just a staircase, which means no privacy. The bathroom is an en-suite off bedroom two on the top floor, so can only be accessed through that bedroom at night. Not great. It did spoil our stay. There was room to put a toilet on the ground floor under the stairs, which would...
