"We enjoyed our stay. It is a spacious place and a good location. We walked to the Mainz Fußball stadium for a game. We bought pastries at the gas station across the street in the mornings. We walked to the Mewe grocery store around the corner. Our only complaints were that there was no washing machine as listed, no WiFi or internet as listed, and no responses from host during our stay. "

Only negative for me is that the bathroom vanity is high for me since I'm petite but still worked out. They had large bath towels that is rare. We met the daughter as we were leaving, and she was coming in and chatted with her briefly letting her know that we enjoyed our stay."

"Wir durften 10 Tage in diesem wirklich sehr schönen Haus verbringen. Alles war tiptop sauber, schön eingerichtet und auch gut ausgestattet. Fantastisch war der riesige Garten und die überdachte Terrasse. Die Lage von dem Haus ist perfekt. In nur 3 min zu Fuß ist man am Bahnhof und hat von dort sehr gute Anbindung an viele Ziele in der Umgebung. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation klappte einwandfrei von Anfang bis Ende. Können dieses Haus nur wärmstens...

"Neighborhood in Mainz was delightful! Sleeping arrangements as advertised - two bedrooms which sleep 2 each on 2nd floor, and one bedroom with other beds/futons on top floor. Kitchen was a bit underequipped compared to our other European VRBO experiences - no vegetable peeler, no saucepans smaller than multiple gallon, very minimal spices. Kitchen not really equipped to cook. Backyard is NOT AS ADVERTISED - overgrown and unkempt waist high grass made it unusable except patio and table directly...

"This property was just what we were looking for. The traditional farm house is well-built and well-maintained and the owners' eclectic sense of style was beautifully displayed throughout. The house is outfitted with everything you'll need for a restful and idyllic stay. Be aware that the beds are quite firm and we slept very well. "Das Wochenende in Mainz war sehr schön. Das Hofhaus war schön gemütlich, sauber und einladend. Im zugehörigen Innenhof konnte man sich gemütlich und in Ruhe aufhalten, was bei dem Wetter perfekt war! Der Vermieter, Ingo, war sehr zuvorkommend. Er hat während dem Wochenende immer wieder sichergestellt, dass es an nichts fehlt und super Programmtipps für in und um Finthen gegeben, die man sonst vielleicht nicht gefunden hätte. "The property is surrounded by beautiful fields and vineyards in a non-touristy part of the area, but also close to towns like Mainz, Wiesbaden and Heidelberg. Very close to local supermarkets too. It was great for us - clean & well appointed. Only downsides were no Wi-Fi (which we knew about beforehand) and the property on-site wine tasting was shut for a holiday whilst we were there."
