"It was worth the effort to get here as we could have easily based ourselves in Yonago. The hotel is lovely and the view from our ocean view room was spectacular. The ocean is very clean to swim in. Breakfast was excellent and we dined in the restaurant one evening which was a hilarious experience for us navigating the menu with Google translate and the online ordering system. The menu was diverse and the food good. We look forward to returning."

The laundry machines require detergent, but the hotel does not sell any. This could be inconvenient for guests, especially considering that Tokyo laundromats often include detergent automatically. The room also lacks napkins, which can be inconvenient as the provided toilet paper is unsuitable as a substitute. "Great place to stay in Matsue. Super close to the train station, an easy 15-20 min walk to the Castle District. Lots of good restaurants and konbini available nearby. Rooms are small but very comfortable. Hotel is very clean and well-run. A great place to stay."
