8/10 Good

Good, bright and spacious flat in ace position
Lovely light and airy flat, close to the Port with good views of gardens and port entrance. Always, but only just, found a parking space.
Convenient for bus & tram travel. Easy walks to beach and port areas.
Some irritating housekeeping issues eg had to defrost ice box frozen solid, wash outdoor cushions which were torn and/or without pads & renew ironing board cover. However, kitchen appliances were good and manager always answered phone promptly to deal with queries.
Nice a great place to stay as lots of shops, art and exhibitions on offer. Good bus service to visit other towns and villages nearby. Beware of the massive queues for tickets at the main station. Machines devilishly slow and difficult to use. Long queues for them and many people give up without getting tickets. Internet purchases still need a verification code so don't really help much. Allow at least 40 minutes to get tickets if you arrive in the morning.
Overall, a really excellent choice.
