## Neighborhood

Olive trees, palm trees and other cypresses form the surrounding landscapes of Cagnes-sur-Mer, a tourist town in the Alpes-Maritimes. Located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, not far from Saint-Laurent-du-Var, the city stretches along a beach almost four kilometers long and is surrounded by beautiful hills.

This former fishing village became a popular and dynamic seaside resort in the early 1970s, notably thanks to its beach, Cros-de-Cagnes. Today, the city wonderfully combines tradition and modernity, through its medieval town, numerous monuments and other nautical and cultural activities.

First national prize in the Town Entrance Competition, Cagnes-sur-Mer offers exceptional nature and a development focused on greenery and aesthetics. It is not for nothing that many painters in their time chose the city as their home. Its brightness, its atmosphere and its undeniable charm have always attracted artists from all over the world. The French Riviera has found one of its most emblematic jewels with Cagnes-sur-Mer and its pretty hills.

Seaside apartment
Loved being just steps away from the beach with fantastic views. Delicious bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. While it is self check-in, they should disclose the key is not at the property location, which is important to know if you are not renting a car. The host did allow us to leave the key at the property when we departed which was much appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

I believe that on the description should be added that the keys have to be collected 30 minutes away from the apartment, in Antibes. The requested checkout time is "by 10:00am" this means that you should be ready to leave at 09:30am and go to Antibes. It is also true that taking the keys after 16:00 and delivering them "by 10:00AM" the total price should be reviewed. Another point to clarify on the instructions is that the building can be accessed via a badge attached with electrical tape to the remote control to access the parking. I did not notice it and the Agent, who repeated that the only access to the building is through the parking, confirmed that she did not know it either. A part of these two consideration the apartment is great and in a good position, a bit noisy at night due to the main road that passes right under the flat.

Incredible view...
We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is nicely furnished and decorated and provides everything you need even for a long stay. Very convenient is the included private parking spot available in the garage under the building. Supermarket, bakery etc. and a lot of beautiful cities (Nice, Antibes, Cannes, Grasse) nearby... Thanks to Juliette our host for accommodating our wishes! Highly recommended!

La 1ere impression en ouvrant la porte de l’appartement c’est « wahouuu » en voyant le panorama de la mer à 180°, cependant le bruit lié à la circulation de la 2x2 voies nous ramène vite à la réalité. C’est très très bruyant et même la nuit, les fenêtres n’étant absolument pas insonorisées, tous les sons provenant de la plage perturbent le sommeil. Sinon l’appartement est relativement bien équipé. Dommage qu’on n’ai pas de draps et de serviettes de rechanges surtout quand on reste 3 semaines. Il y a bien un lave linge mais pas évident de faire sécher. Idéalement situe en face d’une plage de galet et pas très loin de toutes commodités dont une tres bonne boulangerie au pied de l’immeuble
