A cosy little apartment surrounded by greenery in a quiet Residence
This cosy apartment is in a quiet Residence near the beach in Villefranche. Amenities include parking, a swimming pool, and lovely green areas.
The apartment has two levels: a balcony (6 sqm) and a terrace (6 sqm), both in the southwest. From these, you can enjoy the sun all day and look over mountains and greenery.
The upper floor has a combined kitchen (kitchenette) and living room, toilet, and a small bedroom/cabin with a bunk bed (80×200 cm). The small bedroom is best suited for children/young people as the room is small. Adults are, of course, welcome if desired. The entrance is also on this level.
The kitchen has a stove with four plates, a small oven, kettle, coffee machine (ampoules), dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment. Washing machines and dryers are available at the Residence for a small fee.
Via a slightly steep staircase down, you reach a bedroom with an exit to the terrace. The bedroom has a double bed (140 cm), two wardrobes and a shower room with a toilet.
Olive trees, banana plants and palm trees in a well-tended garden surround this well-planned 40 sqm apartment.
The pool is open throughout the high season (May-September). There is a sun deck with sunbeds, a small snack bar and a breathtaking view of the sea and the Bay of Villefranche.
There is also a tennis court on the premises, which you can book online. The cost is 25 Euro per hour, including rackets. Tennis balls are in the apartment.
The car park is fenced with camera surveillance and intended for residents/tenants.
From the apartment, you can walk to the three towns of Villefranche-sur-Mer, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, and Cap Ferrat, with their fantastic beach coves and coastal promenade.
The bus into Nice takes about 20 minutes, and the stop is only a few minutes walk away. If you want to take the train to Italy in the east or Cannes in the west, the station is about 8-10 minutes away.
Villefranche-sur-Mer is an incredibly picturesque and charming old fishing village between Cap Ferrat and Cap Nice, only 4 km from the Nice harbour. When it belonged to Italy, it was called Villafranca. Many other small and beautiful villages are nearby, such as Eze and La Turbie. The bay of Villefranche has been voted one of the five most beautiful bays in the world, and this is easily recognized when you arrive here.
Villefranche-sur-Mer, also called “the heart of the Riviera,” offers many good restaurants, cafes, art studios, and boutiques with souvenirs and other items on display. The village markets are not to be missed.
If you want to be active, you can hike in the hills and mountains or around Cap Ferrat. Why not rent a bike and ride up in the mountains or join one of the diving clubs for snorkelling or scuba diving? Or, for that matter, relax on the long sandy beach and enjoy life.
If you like skiing, during winter, you can reach Limone in Italy and Isola 2000 in France, just a 1.5-hour drive from Villefranche.
