Situated within Dartmoor National Park, Brook Lodge is a unique and spacious lodge ideal for guests who wish to relax and unwind. Surrounded by a beautiful 12-acre ancient woodland, complete with a stream and an abundance of wildlife, Brook Lodge is perfectly placed for guests to explore the scenic countryside for which Dartmoor National Park is renowned.
The front door leads into the large open plan lodge with exposed beams, wooden floors and high ceilings. The large hallway leads into the well-equipped kitchen/diner which has all the amenities you will need for your stay. Steps from the hall lead down to a comfortable living room with two sets of French doors that open up to a seating area with wonderful views of the woodland and surrounding countryside. Also on the ground floor is a single bedroom with an en-suite shower room and the main bathroom with shower over bath. Winding stairs lead to a cosy mezzanine bedroom with sloping ceiling and a king-sized bed.
Because of the stream in the garden, Brook Lodge is not suitable for children although babes in arms are very welcome.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead as there are other dogs on the premises but also, we have an abundance of wildlife that we are keen to protect their welfare.
Brook Lodge also has its own private parking for one car.
