'Annedh' is a stylish dog-friendly studio suite with a huge comfortable superking bed, plump pillows, crisp white cotton sheets and blackout blinds - the perfect recipe for a good night's sleep. It also has a well equipped kitchen and gorgeous bathroom with chromotherapy shower big enough for two! Perfect for year-round cosy weekends away and a great week-night alternative to bland hotel rooms.
Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome at a cost of £10/dog per stay.
Annedh's galley kitchen is small but perfectly formed - it has a two ring induction hob, full sized oven, dishwasher and roomy fridge with freezer section, perfect to keep your fizz cool and ice for your G&Ts. To the side of the kitchen is a dining table and chairs, so if you fancy rustling up a delicious meal, you won't have to eat off your knees.
The bathroom is truly something to behold. Looking like a regular shower cubicle, this rainfall shower can also become a steam room complete with body jets, chromotherapy changing light colours and speakers that can be bluetoothed to your phone. Robes and slippers are provided to complete the spa-like experience.
Located between Mitchell and St Newlyn East (great pubs!), about a mile from each, Goonwinnow is easy to find and the location is super-convenient for the A30, and getting to pretty much anywhere else in county, especially the North Coast beaches.
Goonwinnow Farm's stone barns have been converted over the past 20 years into six holiday cottages of varying sizes to suit solo guests, families and large groups. A total of up to 35 people can be accommodated. Each cottage welcomes dogs and a couple have enclosed outdoor spaces for safe play. All guests are welcome to enjoy the games room, outdoor play areas and pasture land.
'Annedh' which means Dwelling in Cornish, is the latest space to be converted for guests.
Within the farm grounds is a communal games room with table tennis, pool and table football. It should be noted that the games room is a rustic barn and one of the side walls is half open (no door) to the outdoor play area, swings and climbing frame.
All bedding, linen, bath towels and tea towels are provided as well as bathroom supplies and kitchen essentials.
In the kitchen there’s a good sized under-counter fridge with icebox, a two-ring electric ceramic hob as well as a full sized electric oven + combi microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine+pods. The cottage also has a hairdryer, iron and board. If there is anything else you'd like to know about please do ask.
There are two superb dog-friendly local pubs, which are often very busy so we’d recommend booking a table if you’d like to visit: The Plume of Feathers in Mitchell and The Pheasant in St Newlyn East.
We have five other beautiful cottages of different sizes, so if this one isn't quite what you're looking for click on our profile to see the others.
