The Inn at Bellevue was a fantastic choice for walkability to points of interest in Newport. Staff was friendly and helpful, parking was easy and convenient. Due to the age of the property, some parts of the room were in need of attention (TV and Toilet). Overall, very pleased with our stay and experience. Would absolutely book again!

We booked a small room with a queen bed and it was attractive, clean, and just what we needed for two nights. If you cannot negotiate steep stairs, this is not your place. Staff was friendly, very helpful, and a joy with which to deal. Included breakfast was yummy! First morning was spinach quiche, ham, and pancakes, with fruit salad, hard boiled eggs, muffins, and the expected drinks on offer. Second morning was French toast instead of pancakes. This place is great for the traveler who likes to be independent and experience the area. You can walk to the harbor and restaurants are around within walking distance. We took their card for next time!

Very large room for a building this age. It was very quiet in the room. The porch is a great place to sit and relax.

I frequent Newport to visit some of my friends now that I live in Milwaukee. I normally stay on Thames, but I enjoyed my stay at the Bellevue Inn. The staff was friendly and you can smell the fresh bakeries being made in the morning. Also location is very central to Thames and actually was quieter since you are up on the hill. Thank you for your hospitality!

I do like this hotel, however, the room we had was possibly the smallest hotel room on earth… we barely had a place to put our luggage. The bathroom was very tiny and dark and the toilet was tucked into a corner where you could hardly sit on it. We paid over $250 for this room. I would stay here again but definitely will make sure I don’t get this room!
