Wyndham Longwharf Newport RI
Very disappointed that there was no air conditioning in the entire unit upon check in. The entire building was out of air conditioning, and this has been a known problem for several days or possibly weeks. We were offered box window fans and one, in room portable air conditioner. As two people with allergies, this was unacceptable and made for a rough stay. We were in town for my best friends wedding, and this put a damper on the few days we were there. We should have been given a heads up about the air conditioning problem and at that point given the option to either stay there or refund our money and go to another place that had air-conditioning. And trying to get in touch with Muke Kennedy, phones were not being answered, phones are not working, and emails were not returned. Another friend of mine staying at the same property had the same issue.

Great location
The location is great, we in town for a wedding and it was close to the venue and shops/bars/restaurants. We called the day before to request second bedroom with double beds and hotel was not pleased to help vrbo guests. Air conditioning was broken, rooms were very hot, but hotel supplied fans the second day. Overall rooms were clean and spacious. Hotel seems to be in process of much needed renovations.

Perfect in everyway
Staff is so wonderful! This was our second stay and we're still in love with everything described about this property online. We plan on returning next spring (need I say more). Thank you for giving us such special attention.
