"The house was cute but disappointing. The bathroom especially needs to be cleaned, as well as updated. The shower has a window with a moldy, broken blind that gets soaked every time you take a shower. The vacuum/electric broom is not sufficient to use in pet friendly rental. There were tumble weeds of other pet hair rolling out from under the living room furniture. We bought ant traps to try to control the ant population. The laundry area needs cleaning. The air conditioner filters were packed...

"Overall a nice place. There were ants in the kitchen which brings the cleanliness rating down. The property description is accurate. We did expected towels included would also mean hand towels for bathroom and dish towels for kitchen but these were not provided. So in that the description was not clear. The beach area could use a little upkeep (removing debris). It was nice to be at a quiet, relaxing spot to get away from east side traffic and noise - but close to get to everything like Wildwood...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Octopus Cottage! The fenced in yard was perfect for relaxing outside with our pup. The cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished. The mattress, pillows and linens were top notch, very comfortable. The location is perfect, with plenty to see and do nearby. We are already planning a return visit!"
