"This was a great stay and the hotel staff checked us in early. The staff was extremely friendly! We booked the king bed and the room was impressively large with all the comforts you’d expect. One thing to note is that hotels.com tried overcharging for breakfast so if you are looking to book at the Strand just get the breakfast voucher at the hotel so you save some money. As for the breakfast, the spread was amazing and the food was delicious. Overall this was a great stay with a great location. "

Lovely setting, Friendly host, nice little bar for a night cap, lovely room - we got a free upgrade and had a four poster bed- and a really comfortable bed.
