This is a wonderful cabin like house and a perfect getaway for my friends and I during our trip to grandfather Mountain. Close and accessible, but still quiet and secluded.

Nice little spot! Fantastic porch and almost two separate living quarters--the basement can really isolate things if need be, which helped with our friends with their infant.

Grandfather Mountain Trip
Older home but clean and well kept. In the middle of everything so it was our base for all the area attractions. I would definitely stay again! A lot of house for a very fair price. The only thing it probably needs is a central heating and air unit! 4.5 stars!

Absolutely amazing home. It was easy to find, it was very clean, and it was well stocked with the essentials. They even had some seasonings in the cupboard. We had no complaints.

Lots of room!
Private location. Nice towels. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying the sudden afternoon rain showers. New windows that open easily to enjoy cool mountain cross breezes. We recommend Kaye’s restaurant! We hope to return soon!

Hidden Gem!
Quaint home tucked on a dead-end street. Wonderful deck with bistro set and other seating. Cute side deck as well. Lush green scenery and limited river views this time of year. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of seating, full kitchen and laundry. Close to town and the local swimming pool. Would recommend.

Great house great location, very responsive house owner,
This house feels very cozy and comfortable. We loved it. It was close enough to lots of activities so there was plenty to do. The neighborhood was quiet. Check in was easy. 2.5 bathrooms and 3 big tvs. They place was very clean. The antique furniture was beautiful. Towels and linens are provided so that's a big plus. The washer and dryer is great to have especially when you have children along. Our stay was great.

cozy little hideaway
I stayed here with my friends for a wedding. It was very cozy and comfortable with heating controls in each room so we could all set the temperature to how we wanted it. It was a bit tricky to find because the GPS didnt land us in the right spot but if you follow the road down the dead end street you can't miss it. The shampoo and conditioner were unexpected but a very nice touch. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay while we celebrated out friend's wedding.

Came to the area to explore the Mount near by. House was a great central location to everything we wanted to go do. House was bigger than what we thought it would be and secluded just enough to enjoy some peace and quiet.
