"This delightful cottage was exactly as described. Terrific location quite close to the beach and the Main Street of cowes. Lovely furnishing and elegant design. Some very effective design ideas. Wood look heater which added ambience. Spa bath. Quality appliances. 1-2 guests only. "

"The original art decorating the rooms, the well-equipped kitchen and large bathroom, the comfortable bedroom furniture and the lovely lounge fittings all combined to make it the perfect holiday spot for us. Wonthaggi had all the things needed for a holiday in January but we didn't see any crowds. They were probably at the popular holiday spots along the Bass Coast."

"This is a lovely place to stay. It is in a fantastic location, only a short drive into Red Hill centre with lots of fabulous restaurants near by. The accommodation itself was super comfortable, with great heating which matters in winter. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook your own meals and have a washing machine and dryers was also great. I would recommend it."

"The cottage has been beautifully built and, with its tasteful combination of brick and stone, it nestles sympathetically into the surrounding countryside. "This is our new favourite place on the Peninsula. We had a great week. The cottage has incredible valley views that change constantly in the winter light. Our hosts were brilliant and the cottage clean and comfortable. Loved the local cafe, bakery and winery, The Rare Hare. A short drive to the beach and wetlands, and there are lovely walking tracks into the village."
