"We stayed in the family room and it was brilliant! We had so much space even though there were 5 of us in it. The kids absolutely loved the bunk bed! The pool was great especially the baby pool as it was lovely and warm for the baby. Breakfast was super, and staff very friendly. Would highly recommend "

"Excellent experience lovely stay away with friends. Great customer service under difficult circumstances due to weather phones not working and power cuts. Staff handled it very well. A few drawbacks though for a Hotel with this many stars no bottled water in the room and the rooms were quite cool "

"The staff are just so friendly and the place is lovely. Its either a 5-10 min drive into Newcastle or a nice 30min walk. Really good for somewhere to decompress for a few days."

"An excellent holiday apartment. My niece and I enjoyed our stay there. Weather was very pleasant and my niece enjoyed many walks around Dundrum. We had beautiful meals, especially at The Bucks Head in centre of village. We shall be looking to return again for a break."

"Arrived earlier than expected and we were greeted by friendly cheerful staff who checked to see if our room was ready. To our delight the room was ready and we were able to check in. All the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.The beds were great with really good mattresses.The continental breakfast was plentiful and really set us up for our journey home.The rooms are a bit outdated but they are clean and spacious and well worth the money paid. If you didnt bring your car there is a bus station and a taxi service located a short walk from the hotel which can be a real bonus at times. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay at The Donard Hotel and would definitely return."

"The best rental place we have ever stayed in! Everything and more was provided and all top quality, definitely a home from home. Janet is an excellent host and couldn’t do enough for us the welcome gift was a lovely touch. The views are to die for and even with the not so good Irish weather we still managed to do so much. We will hopefully return 😊"
